Peace Restored has gone through A LOT of transitions in 2021 so we wanted to take a moment to reflect on what this past year has been like for Peace Restored. It has been incredible and the Lord has opened doors we never expected. We hope you’ll celebrate these victories with us! We are celebrating today but we believe Peace Restored has much more work to do.
January
Angela Key transitions to the official Widows Club Coordinator but she has fulfilled this role for a LONG time.
February
Frabergs IGA gifted flowers to the Widows in Our Widows Club. Life Pointe Community Church of the Nazarene’s Childrens Department put together and gifted Valentines bag. City Changers picked up the Valentines bags that were made through the Childrens Deparment. The Widows Club was hosted at the Upper Room Church this month. We were truly overwhelmed at the support we received from the community in February.
March
But we received more than that and were able to set up a coffee bar with a Keurig, stocked with k-cups, coffee cups, and more!
During the month of March 2021, we added Judy Asmus to our staff!
April 2021
We started our Anxiety and Depression Group led by Executive Director, Ann Madison.
We received so much positive feedback from our Fight Back with Joy Bible study, we decided to offer an evening version of the class for those who couldn’t attend in the morning!
May 2021
We received a generious donation from Bethel Friends Church!
One of our wonderful staff members, Shawna left Peace Restored to pursue her hearts passion of writing Bible studies for women. While we were going to miss Shawna, we were so excited for her to follow what God had laid out for her!
Our Executive Director, Ann Madison and our Community Relations Director, Jenee Deverick were guests on a podcast to share about Peace Restored and talk about the upcoming Golf Outing.
June 2021
A LOT happened in June for Peace Restored! We are excited to share the highlights with you!
Peace Restored hosted our first Annual Golf Outing at The Links at Heartland Crossing.
We hosted local pop-up shops all across Indiana with our shirts, candles, scripture frames, and more that we offer!
Sara Gegg joined the staff as our Administrative Assistant!
Renee Roberts joined the staff as our Counseling Supervisor!
Emily Key joined the staff as one of our Community Relations Intern for the summer!
Brianna Madison joined the staff as one our Community Relations Intern for the summer!
Kingsway Christian Church created a video about Peace Restored. Not only this but we were their Dollar Club recipient this month and we received a monetary donation to the nonprofit that we are extremely grateful for!

July 2021
We had our Pop-Up Shop at the Community Days at the Morgan County Farmers Market. Our Executive Director and some other board members attended the event to get to know members of the community.
Peace Restored MOVED!
We were able to have a larger office space in July. We had a ribbon cutting thanks to The Mooresville Chamber.
We then hosted an Open House for the space for the community to come see!
August 2021
Our Community Relations Intern, Emily Key and Brianna Madison left to go back to college. We are extremely grateful for the time they spent at Peace Restored and the commitment they gave to the organization!
We opened ReSTOREd! The store for Peace Restored where every dollar received from the store goes directly to Peace Restored’s mission.
Executive Director, Ann Madison spent a morning in August helping some friends at Mooresville Christian Academy at their Pastor Appreciation Golf Outing.
Absorb Productions (who we LOVE working with) came to do headshots for us.
September 2021
Morgan County Division of MIBOR Realtor Association allowed Peace Restored to share about the work we do and about the upcoming Overcomer 5k and Awareness Walk in October!
Some of our staff flew down to Florida to attend the AACC Waymaker Conference!
Our Executive Director, Ann Madison and our Counseling Supervisor, Renee Roberts were invited to speak at the AACC Waymaker Conference!
We received a visit from Rich Nye WTHR 13 where he took time to learn about Peace Restored and interview Executive Director, Ann Madison.
Peace Restored received a generous surprise donation from Walmart Camby!
October 2021
We held our Annual Overcomer 5k and Awareness Walk at Avon Town Hall on Saturday, October 2nd
Executive Director, Ann Madison visited and thanked sponsors of the Overcomer 5k and Awareness Walk.
Peace Restored hosted Surviving the Holidays, a griefshare group.
We held the Power of Words study led by Judy Asmus!
November 2021
We had another ribbon cutting thanks to Mindy Taylor and the Mooresville Chamber for expanding our office space further!
On November 13th, Peace Restored held a Holiday shop for the Grand Opening of ReSTOREd Too!
If you would have listened to Air-1 Radio or K-Love Radio during the month of November, you may have heard Peace Restored talked about!
Peace Restored announced our Prayer Team for the organization!
Peace Restored hosted our Annual Widows Club Dinner at our new office space! We are extremely grateful to Timberline Knolls for sponsoring this event!
On Giving Tuesday, we stayed on social media all day with lots of people coming in to help us out…we raised close to $2000!!
December 2021
Valley Mills Christian Church invited Executive Director, Ann Madison to speak at their Women’s Christmas Party and share about Peace Restored.
Morgan County Mibror gave a donation of office supplies and a check!
Peace Restored hosted the Annual Widows Club Christmas Party!

As we reflect on this last year, we realize all the things the Lord has blessed us with and allowed us to do in 2021.
Peace Restored has grown so much in 2021, it is overwhelming. When we started 2021, we did not expect all of what happened this past year to happen. We are so thankful to everyone who contributed to making these things happen. Peace Restored wouldn’t be here without the Lord and the support of people like YOU!
